EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 20-178 for CFM56-5Bs, requiring inspection and replacement of low pressure turbine rear frames, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 20-177 for Airbus A320 family, requiring cleaning, greasing and replacement of cargo door seals, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.
EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 19-102R2 for Airbus A330s and A340s, requiring inspection and replacement of oxygen supply solenoid valve, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 20-179 for Airbus A320 family, requiring inspection repair of door stop fitting holes at frame 66/68, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.
EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0245 for Airbus A330s, requiring repair and replacement of slat geared rotary actuators, effective Nov. 23, 2020.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0248 for Airbus A340-213s, -541s, -642s and -643s, requiring modification of backup control module, fuel control and monitoring computer, flight warning computer, modification and replacement of braking and steering control unit, modification of circumferential and longitudinal joints and reinforcement of leading edge overhang, effective Nov. 25, 2020.
EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0250 for Airbus A319s, A320s and A321s, requiring replacement of engine mount shackle, effective Nov. 25, 2020.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0249 for ATR 42s and 72s, requiring operational test and inspection of angle of attack probe and multi-function computers electrical routing, effective Nov. 25, 2020.
EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0252 for Pilatus PC-24s, requiring modification of fuel drain system, effective Nov. 26, 2020.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0253 for Rolls-Royce Deutschland RB211 Trent 768-60s, 772-60s, 772B-60s and 772C-60s, requiring inspection, re-lubrication and restoration of low pressure compressor blades and discs, effective Nov. 26, 2020.
EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-0254 for BAE Systems AVRO 146RJs and BAE 146s, amending time limits and maintenance checks under airworthiness limitations section, effective Nov. 27, 2020.

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 20-180 for Airbus A340-541s, -542s and -642s, requiring modification of trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuator, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-22-11 for all Airbus A300 B4-603s, -620s, -622s, -605Rs, -622Rs, F4-605Rs, -622Rs and C4-605R variant Fs, requiring modifying certain fuselage frames and a repair on certain modified airplanes, plus, for certain airplanes, an inspection to determine if rotating probe inspections were performed prior to oversizing of the open-holes and repair if necessary, effective Dec. 14, 2020.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-22-06 for certain Airbus A320s, requiring repetitive inspections to detect fatigue cracking in certain areas of the fuselage and corrective action if necessary, an optional terminating action for fastener hole inspections and inspections of the emergency exit door structure for any cracking and repair if necessary, effective Dec. 14, 2020.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-22-09 for certain Airbus A330s, requiring a roto-test inspection of fastener holes of certain fuselage joints for cracks, reinforcement of the fuselage between certain frames, and, if necessary, a high frequency eddy current inspection and repair, effective Nov. 25, 2020.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-23-08 for certain Rolls-Royce Deutschland Tay 611-8Cs, requiring limiting the service life of the low-pressure compressor rotor blades based on the number of dry-film lubricant reapplications, effective Dec. 18, 2020.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-22-18 for all Rolls-Royce AE 2100As, AE 2100D2s, AE 2100D2As and AE 2100Ps, requiring assignment of usage hours to the propeller gearbox shaft and carrier assembly at the next engine shop visit and replacement of shaft and carrier assemblies prior to exceeding the new life limits established by the manufacturer, effective Dec. 15, 2020.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2020-22-15 for all Boeing DC-10-10s and -10Fs, -10-15s, -30s, -30Fs, -40s and -40Fs, MD10-10Fs and -30Fs, MD-11s and -11Fs, requiring an inspection of the over-wing floor beams for any repair, repetitive inspections of the over-wing floor beams and floor beam supports at certain stations on the left and right sides for any crack, and applicable on-condition actions, effective Dec. 18, 2020.
Rosaviation has been consulting with the Civil Aviation Authority of Tajikistan and with the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority on certification and airworthiness of civil aviation equipment.
Inaugural Air Travel Bubble flights between Singapore and Hong Kong will be on Nov. 22, 2020. The Bubble is a milestone arrangement between two aviation hubs seeking to revive air travel in a safe and progressive way. Progress in containing the spread of COVID-19 in Singapore and Hong Kong has given the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore confidence to reopen its borders gradually, with safeguards in place to ensure public health and safety. Under the Bubble, travelers between Singapore and Hong Kong will be subject to COVID-19 tests, in lieu of quarantine or stay-home notice. There will be no restrictions on purpose of travel and no requirement for a controlled itinerary or sponsorship.
About 5,000 airport workers have tested negative for COVID-19 in a one-time test of workers at Changi Airport Terminal 3 from early October 2020 onwards. This follows detection of two COVID-19 positive cases involving airport workers on Oct. 24, 2020.
