The UK Civil Aviation Authority has appointed Glenn Bradley head of flight operations, responsible for oversight of commercial and non-commercial aircraft operations, approved training organizations and special operations across the UK.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China has announced that from Oct. 1-8, a total of 13.26 million passengers were transported by Chinese carriers, and the number of flights was 117,327, 90% of the same period last year. Average daily domestic flights increased 13 percentage points over the same period in 2019.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has issued new training requirements for unmanned aircraft operations. Certain users will need to hold either a UA Basic Training Certificate or a UA Pilot License from Feb. 1, 2021, register the aircraft and get operating permits before flying unmanned aircraft in Singapore. Failure to comply will earn a fine not exceeding $50,000 or imprisonment not exceeding two years or both for the first offense.
