France’s flag-carrier is opening a second route to the UK capital this summer and has received the green light to begin codesharing with Italy’s ITA on transatlantic routes to the US.

Routes details the latest new route announcements, as well as the services returning to carriers’ networks.

American, Delta and United have all been forced by the CAAC to temporarily suspend routes to China.

The codeshare agreement follows Aer Lingus’ entry to the oneworld transatlantic joint venture in late 2020.

Seattle-based Alaska said it has added 188 codeshare routes since joining oneworld in March.

Strong corporate demand between the US and the UK is fueling the carrier’s latest transatlantic expansion.

The three destinations will join Air Transat’s network from Montreal next summer.

The planned codeshare on US routes follows an agreement signed earlier this month.
