The SkyAlyne partnership between CAE and KF Aerospace was selected over a rival proposal from the Babcock Leonardo Canada Aircrew Training team.

Avincis was previously the name of a wider group of helicopter operating companies.

Babcock will manage and operate the UK Defense Ministry’s communication satellite constellation Skynet, winning out against competition from Airbus and others.
