Conduce eTechLog8
As part of its three-year plan to break into the North American market, mobile aviation solutions provider Conduce exhibited for the first time at MRO Americas. Its paperless electronic logbook product, eTechLog8, was just chosen by Kuwaiti airline Jazeera. The airline will be integrating eTechLog8 into its Commsoft OASES software to access real-time aircraft status data. Conduce says its customers also include companies such as Airbus, Etihad, MHD Rockland, Saudia and SmartLynx.

Lufthansa Technik Aviatar Updates
Lufthansa Technik showcased Boeing 737NG aircraft health monitoring updates for its digital Aviatar platform. It has added several new digital fleet management applications for Aviatar, including condition monitoring and prediction apps that were co-created with United Airlines. The updates allow customers with mixed Airbus and Boeing fleets to manage technical operations for both side-by-side on a single screen.

WISER Systems Locating and Tracking
First time MRO Americas exhibitor WISER Systems showcased its locating and tracking system, which combines software, antennas and small tracker tags to track things such as parts, tools and work orders. According to WISER, the system utilizes ultra-wideband technology, so it does not require traditional line-of-sight proximity like RFID. It says the system is unique due to its ability to scale quickly and track accurately in the highly metallic environments found in aviation. It is preparing to release its WISER ATLAS system, which can be used for tracking in very large facilities.

Flydocs Component Management Software
Aftermarket software specialist flydocs debuted its new Component Management software, which enables procurement, selling and leasing of parts backed by a digital trace. According to flydocs CEO Andre Fischer, the software leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain to make components management more efficient and secure. The software integrates with the rest of flydocs’ software products and Fischer says it has been developed with input from industry partners.

AireXpert Integrates LexX Technologies
AireXpert showcased its aircraft maintenance management software, which just began integrating the digital troubleshooting intelligence system from LexX Technologies. The system uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing to help mechanics troubleshoot and receive guidance during maintenance tasks. AireXpert says the technology integration will help its airline customers maximize available personnel to enable benefits in efficiency, compliance and performance.

Evitado Technologies ELVIZ
New startup Evitado Technologies was a first-time exhibitor at MRO Americas this year. It has developed a portable, LiDAR-based product called ELVIZ that can be installed on aircraft tow vehicles to provide collision warnings and data intelligence. ELVIZ uses software to recognize aircraft types and track their movement, which Evitado says is similar to parking assist technology in cars.

Aerocore Technologies Nucleated Foam Technology
First time MRO Americas exhibitor Aerocore Technologies showcased its jet engine foam cleaning system, which utilizes patented Nucleated Foam Technology. According to Aerocore, the system can clean engines on any aircraft in 90 mins. or less, resulting in reduced CO2 emissions and fuel burn. Its system is FAA approved and used by companies such as Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce and FedEx.

Revima APU Fuel Saving
Revima debuted APU Fuel Saving, its new digital tool for the FlightWatching platform, which monitors APU use to help airlines better cut costs and carbon emissions. The tool provides live recommendations, such as optimum APU start times, as well as notifications about APU overuse and availability of cheaper, lower carbon-intensive power sources. Revima says FlightWatching has helped customers cut APU total operating cost by 10-50%, depending on aircraft type and airline operations.

MTI Instruments PBS eXpress
Advanced test and measurement equipment specialist MTI Instruments introduced its new PBS eXpress portable aircraft engine vibration analysis and balancing system for business and regional jets. The PBS eXpress is a simplified and pared down version of its flagship PBS-4100+ system. It features a touchscreen so it does not need to be connected to a laptop. MTI says the product has been built to hit the price point for business jets and it is currently taking preorders.

Component Control Quantum-ERP RFQ Manager
Component Control debuted the latest update to its Quantum-ERP MRO and logistics software. It now features an RFQ Manager capability, which provides automatic integration of requests for quotes from SalesEdge, its intelligent RFQ and smart quoting management tool. According to Component Control, the RFQ Manager capability makes part sourcing simpler and reduces the time spent trying to organize and manage RFQs.

Sterling Global Aviation Logistics QuickOnline 2.0
Sterling Global Aviation Logistics debuted QuickOnline 2.0, its new enhanced logistics software application designed for the aviation and aerospace industry. The application is designed to enable users to easily place orders online, upload required shipping documentation, and track and manage urgent shipments.

Wall Colmonoy Heating and Cooling Products
Components manufacturer Wall Colmonoy displayed several new products for regional and general aviation aircraft, including primary heat exchangers for Bombardier CRJ200 and -900 aircraft and an aftercooler that provides cooling to the turbocharger of SR22T Cirrus aircraft.
