India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued a public notice regarding registration of aircraft covered under the Cape Town Convention.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2017-0209R1 for Airbus A380-841s, A380-842s and A380-861s, requiring reset of integrated modular avionics internal timer power cycle, effective March 11, 2019.

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 19-019R1 for certain Rolls-Royce Deutschland Trent 1000s, requiring inspection of intermediate pressure compressor blades and shafts.

EASA has issued safety information bulletin 2019-05 for Rockwell Collins GPS Receiver GPS-4000S, regarding reduced availability of localizer performance with vertical guidance procedures.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2018-0164R1 for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Trent 1000s, requiring replacement of high pressure turbine disc front cover plate, effective March 14, 2019.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-0053 for Saab 2000s, requiring inspection of magnetic fuel level indicator, effective March 28, 219.

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 19-038 for Airbus A380-841s and A380-842s, requiring inspection of thrust reverser actuator fire protection assemblies.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-03-28 for all Airbus A318s, A319s, A320-211s, A320-212s, A320-214s, A320-216s, A320-231s, A320-232s, A320-233s, A321-111s, A321-112s, A321-131s, A321-211s, A321-212s, A321-213s, A321-231s and A321-232s, requiring, for certain airplanes, repetitive replacements of the fixed fairing upper and lower attachment studs of both the left-hand and right-hand main landing gear; and repetitive inspections for corrosion, wear, fatigue cracking, and loose studs of each forward stud assembly of the fixed fairing door upper and lower forward attachments of both the left and right gear; and replacement if necessary; and re-identification of the gears’ fixed fairing assemblies' part numbers, effective April 15, 2019.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-05-08 for all Airbus A318s, A319s, A320-211s, A320-212s, A320-214s, A320-231s, A320-232s, A320-233s, A321-111s, A321-112s, A321-131s, A321-211s, A321-212s, A321-213s, A321-231s and A321-232s, requiring an inspection to determine the batch number or installation date of the oxygen pipe assembly that is installed at the end of the right-hand crew distribution line, and replacement of the pipe if necessary, effective April 16, 2019.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-05-08 2019-05-02 for certain Rolls-Royce RB211-Trent 900s, requiring an inspection of the drains mast and the replacement or repair of the drains mast if a crack is found and repetitive inspections, effective March 27, 2019.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-03-30 for certain Embraer EMB-135ERs, -135KEs, -135KLs, and -135LRs, and EMB-145s, -145ERs, -145MRs, -145LRs, -145XRs, -145MPs and -145Eps, requiring installation of new stow/transit switches in engine thrust reversers, effective March 26, 2019.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-05-08 2019-05-01 for all Pratt & Whitney PW2037s, PW2037Ds, PW2037Ms, PW2040s, PW2040Ds, PW2043s, PW2143s, PW2643s and F117-PW-100s, requiring initial and repetitive on-wing eddy current inspections of affected engines with certain diffuser and high-pressure turbine cases, and an on-wing eddy current inspection of all diffuser case M-flange replacement repairs, effective April 16, 2019.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2019-05-08 2019-03-25 for certain Airbus A318s, A319s, A320-211s, -212s, -214s, -216s, -231s, -232s, -233s, A321-111s, -112s, -131s, -211s, -212s, -213s, -231s and -232s, requiring repetitive special detailed inspections of the center and outer wing box lower stiffeners and panels at a certain junction on the left- and right-hand sides for any cracking, and repair if necessary, as specified in an EASA airworthiness directive, effective April 16, 2019.
