FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-11-04 for certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada DHC-8-400s, -401s and -402s, requiring inspections for correct height of the lock link over-center stop pin and for correct gaps of the left-hand and right-hand main landing gear down-lock proximity sensors, replacement of the shim if necessary, corrective actions, and installation of a new, improved proximity sensor electronic unit with software changes, effective July 9, 2021.
