FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-23-51 for certain GE CF34-8Cs and -8Es, requiring inspection of the master compressor variable geometry actuator and slave compressor actuator and, depending on the results of the inspection, replacement of the part with a part eligible for installation, plus reporting the results of the inspection to GE, effective Dec. 29, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-25-04 for certain Rolls-Royce Deutschland Trent 1000s, requiring the operator to revise the airworthiness limitations section of their existing approved aircraft maintenance program by incorporating the revised tasks of the applicable time limits manual for each engine, effective Jan. 19, 2022.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-25-02 for Yaborã Industria Aeronáutica ERJ 190-100 STDs, -100 LRs, -100 ECJs, -100 IGWs, -200 STDs, -200 LRs and -200 IGWs, requiring, for certain airplanes, retorquing and replacing the pylon lower link fittings; and, for all airplanes, repetitive retorquing of those fittings, modification of the attaching parts of the pylon lower link fittings and application of a lower torque value; inspection of certain shear pins and replacement if necessary; and revised compliance times for the modification, effective Jan. 20, 2022.
