Aviation Week's Commercial Aviation 2023 Fleet and MRO Forecast predicts that commercial MRO demand in the Africa region will represent a value of $29.7 billion for the period 2023-32.
Engine maintenance work has the highest share of 49%, around $14 billion of the total MRO demand in the region. Components and line maintenance account for 21% and 17%, respectively, while modifications and airframe heavy maintenance will see demand of around $2 billion and $1 billion, respectively.
