
1. Emirates
Headquartered in Dubai, UAE’s flag carrier Emirates has the largest fleet in the Middle East. It currently operates a fleet of 238 aircraft, comprising 144 Boeing 777s, 93 Airbus A380s and one A320 aircraft.

2. Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways, with its main hub at Hamad International Airport, has the second largest fleet in the Middle East region. It currently operates 214 aircraft in more than 150 destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas and Oceania.

3. Saudia
Saudia, formerly known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, is headquartered in Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. It currently operates 146 aircraft, with a fleet consisting of Airbus narrowbodies and widebodies and Boeing widebodies.

4. Flydubai
An Emirati and government owned low-cost carrier, Flydubai is headquartered at Dubai International Airport. It currently operates a fleet of 77 Boeing 737 aircraft.

5. Etihad Airways
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways is the other flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates. It currently operates a fleet of 71 aircraft, consisting of Boeing 777s and 787s, and Airbus A320s and A350s.

6. Flynas
Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier, Flynas, formerly known as Nas Air, is headquartered in Riyadh. It currently operates an entirely Airbus fleet of 47 aircraft. Over the course of its history, the carrier has operated both narrowbody and widebody Boeing aircraft.

7. Oman Air
Oman Air, with its base at Muscat International Airport, currently serves more than 20 countries. It currently operates 47 aircraft, consisting of 10 Airbus A330s, 28 Boeing 737s and nine 787s.

8. Air Arabia
Air Arabia, an Emirati low-cost carrier, has its main base at Sharjah International Airport. It currently serves more than 100 destinations across North Africa, Europe, India, Central Asia and the Middle East region. It currently operates a fleet of 42 Airbus A320 aircraft.

9. El Al Israel Airlines
Founded in 1948, El Al Israel Airlines is a flag carrier of Israel. It currently serves more than 50 destinations within Israel, Europe, Middle East, the U.S and Africa regions. It currently operates an entirely Boeing fleet, consisting of 22 Boeing 737s, 15 787s and two 777s.

10. Mahan Airlines
An Iranian full service carrier, Mahan Airlines is based in Tehran. It has its bases at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport and Mehrabad International Airport. It currently operates scheduled domestic and international flights to the Far East, Middle East, Central Asia and Europe region. Its fleet consists of 14 British Aerospace 146s, six Airbus A340s, three A300s, two A310s and two Boeing 747s.
