1. Wizz Air Hungary

Headquartered in Budapest, Hungarian multinational ultra-low-cost carrier Wizz Air has the largest fleet in Eastern Europe. It currently operates a fleet of 91aircraft across Wizz Air Hungary, comprising Airbus A320-200s, A321-200s and A321-200neos. Overall including its subsidiaries in Europe and the Middle East, it operates 178 aircraft.

2. LOT Polish Airlines

LOT Polish Airlines, a polish flag carrier with its main hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport, currently operates 76 aircraft within the Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America regions. Its fleet consists of Boeing widebodies and narrowbodies and Embraer narrowbodies. 

3. Ryanair SUN

Headquartered in Warsaw, Ryanair SUN is a subsidiary of the Irish flag carrier Ryanair and a sister airline to Ryanair UK, Malta Air and Lauda Europe. It currently operates an entirely Boeing fleet of 64 aircraft. 

4. Air Baltic

Air Baltic is a flag carrier of Latvia and is 97% owned by the Government of Latvia. It has its headquarters at Riga International Airport. It also has bases in Tallinn, Estonia; Vilnius, Lithuania and Tampere, Finland. The airline currently operates an-all Airbus fleet of 41 aircraft. It has recently launched a revamped MRO internship program, which it says will provide an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience working alongside its maintenance technicians. 

5. Air Astana

Almaty, Kazakhstan-based Air Astana is a joint venture between Kazakhstan’s sovereign wealth fund, Samruk-Kazyna, and BAE Systems. It currently operates a fleet of 40 aircraft from its two hubs, Almaty International Airport and Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport.

6. Smartwings

Founded in 1997 and headquartered at Václav Havel Airport Prague, Smartwings is the biggest airline in the Czech Republic. It currently operates a fleet of 35 aircraft, comprising both Boeing and Airbus narrowbody aircraft. 

7. Enter Air

Enter Air, a Polish charter airline headquartered in Warsaw, currently operates 28 aircraft, comprising 24 Boeing 737-800s, five 737 MAX 8s and one Airbus A320-200. It has its main bases at Warsaw Chopin Airport and Katowice Airport. 
 

8. Uzbekistan Airways

Uzbekistan Airways, the flag carrier of Uzbekistan, has its main base at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport. It serves several domestic and international destinations within Asia, Europe and North America. It currently operates a fleet of 27 aircraft, consisting of Airbus narrowbodies and widebodies and Boeing widebodies. 

9. SCAT Airlines

SCAT Airlines is headquartered at Shymkent International Airport in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. It currently operates an entirely Boeing fleet of 19 aircraft. 

10. Azerbaijan Airlines

Founded in 1992 and headquartered at Baku, Azerbaijan Airlines is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Azerbaijan. The carrier serves destinations across Asia, Europe, the U.S. and the Commonwealth of Independent States in Eurasia. It currently operates a fleet of 17 aircraft.
