Nominations Open For FSF’s Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award

The Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), a nonprofit organization focusing on research, education, advocacy and communications for aviation safety, is seeking nominations for its 2023 FSF Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award. 

The award, which has been presented since 1975, recognizes individuals whose work enhances safety in the business aviation sector. Deadline for nominations is Feb. 28.

Past recipients have included the likes of industry leaders, government officials, researchers and members of the press. All nominations must be accompanied with a one-page document of supporting material. The online nomination form mentions that any nominations without supporting materials may not be considered by the selection committee. An award ceremony will be held at the 68th Business Aviation Safety Summit, from May 8-9 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
