Textron Aviation’s new Hiring and Learning Center in Wichita will consolidate programs focused on skill development, technical training and hiring activities scattered across multiple facilities into a single location. The company is focused on a multifaceted workforce strategy through paid high school and college internships, externships for educators, “returnships” for experienced professionals re-entering the workforce, military recruitment along with relationships with university and technical education institutions.
