Embraer has received Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) from the FAA and EASA for its Phenom 300MED, a Medevac-configured Phenom 300 light jet.
The STC was performed at Embraer’s Service Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The aircraft will be operated by launch customer Grandview Aviation, an on-demand charter operator. The Phenom 300MED interior, with specifications by Embraer, was developed and certified by Accenture using equipment from Aerolite. Aerolite developed the Intensive Care Unit specifically for the Phenom 300MED. Evacuation tests confirmed that two fully disabled patients could be evacuated. Alternatives include the ability to accommodate one or two stretchers and the ability to carry an incubator and additional medical equipment.
The Medevac configuration is available for new and existing Phenom 300 aircraft. The equipment was designed to convert between an executive and a Medevac interior in five hours.
