Precision Conversions has announced the continuation of the 757-200PCC Combi program. The 1994 Pratt & Whitney-powered Boeing 757-200 has been inducted at Flightstar Aircraft Services' facility in Jacksonville, Fla., as part of a deal for two aircraft with the option of up to four from Cargo Aircraft Management.

Pacific Royale Airways, an Indonesian start-up planning to launch operations early next year, has purchased five Fokker 50s from Ethiopian Airlines and has signed a letter-of-intent to lease an undisclosed number of Airbus A320s. The first of the Fokker 50s is due to arrive at the end of this month, with one each coming in subsequent months, says Pacific Royale CEO Sumudra Sukardi. He also says the carrier has paid a security deposit to a leasing company for some Airbus A320s, but has yet to sign the lease agreement.

Nordam has appointed Brian Schlegel to VP, supply chain management. Schlegel previously served as Nordam's senior VP of support services. Schlegel will lead the aerospace firm's global procurement, inventory planning, transportation and logistics efforts. Mike Bunney has also been added as senior VP, support services. Dave Whitten has been promoted to senior VP, strategy and marketing.

Sherwin-Williams has added several executives to its management team: Karen O'Hara will fill the position of global aerospace sales manager, Christopher Cook will become global aerospace business development manager and Anthony Azarve has become an account executive for aerospace coatings sales in the U.S.

Lion Air has scrapped its plan to have its MRO business centered on Indonesia's Sulawesi Island, citing disagreements with the Manado International Airport airport operator. The airline says the new plan is to have maintenance operations at Hang Nadim International Airport in Indonesia, which has the longest runway in that country.
