The Pentagon has identified its first tech area—small UAS—for a new program to connect innovative defense tech startups with trusted sources of funding.

The DOD is continuing dialogue with Boeing on the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent competition although the company announced it would not bid on the effort.

The Boeing KC-46A Pegasus transferred over 4,000 lb. of fuel to F-18 aircraft, transferred an additional 5,000 lb. to an F-18 and transferred over 5,000 lb. to a Lockheed Martin F-16.
