Bradley Perrett covered China, Japan, South Korea and Australia. He is a Mandarin-speaking Australian.
Before joining Aviation Week in 2006 he was a macroeconomics, politics and aerospace journalist with Reuters. Perrett holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Macquarie University, Sydney. He left Aviation Week in 2020.
Plans for the service follow what the Taiwanese airline reports as success on seasonal services to Sydney and Brisbane in Australia, and Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand.
Further distancing the airline from official local backers, the board of directors has voted to change the company name to Xin Long Hangkong, which could be translated as New Dragon Airlines.
