Bradley Perrett covered China, Japan, South Korea and Australia. He is a Mandarin-speaking Australian.
Before joining Aviation Week in 2006 he was a macroeconomics, politics and aerospace journalist with Reuters. Perrett holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Macquarie University, Sydney. He left Aviation Week in 2020.
A 737 completion center that Boeing has agreed to set up in China with Comac will help the U.S. manufacturer achieve a planned increase in narrowbody aircraft production.
The plant will supply higher-grade aluminum for wing skins and introduce machining to cut costs of the final parts, said Ingo Kroepfl, vice president for Aleris’s aerospace business.
