Before joining Aviation Week in 2006 he was a macroeconomics, politics and aerospace journalist with Reuters. Perrett holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Macquarie University, Sydney. He left Aviation Week in 2020.
China unveiled a hypersonically gliding surface-to-surface missile, the DF-17, at its national day parade on Oct. 1, saying the weapon is non-nuclear and has the powerful ability to penetrate defenses.
