Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has announced an order for 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, which will take its order book up to 34.
The order was already on Boeing’s order & deliveries site as an unidentified customer. The public announcement was made July 19 at the Farnborough Airshow.
ACG executive chair Mahoko Hara said the additional -8s will “help position ACG’s order book for a recovery in air traffic coming out of the pandemic.”
“Topping up with additional 737-8s positions ACG well to respond to growing airline demand,” Boeing SVP commercial sales and marketing Ihssane Mounir said.
California-based ACG is a Tokyo Century company. It has around 450 owned, managed and committed aircraft, predominantly Airbus A320 and 737 family aircraft.
