Gallery: Boeing 737-10 Debuts At Farnborough Airshow
July 20, 2022The Boeing 737-10, also known as the MAX 10, is a development version of the aircraft and it has made its first appearance at the Farnborough Airshow 2022.
The MAX 10 flies 200 nm. longer thn the current 737 in service, and will be powered with CFM International LEAP-1B engines, and Advanced Technology (AT) winglets improved fuel efficiency.
Boeing hopes it will be "the most profitable" single-aisle aircraft with capacity for 188 to 230 seats.
Delta Air Lines announced an order for up to 130 Boeing 737-10s, marking both a major vote-of-confidence in the future of the yet-to-be-certified stretch-MAX model and a pivotal bridge-building deal in the recently strained relationship between carrier and aircraft manufacturer. Deliveries for which will run between 2025 and 2029.
