Air New Zealand may offer Wi-Fi connectivity on flights from 2017 onward, CEO Christopher Luxon said in a statement Oct. 11.

Lufthansa Group subsidiary Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has ordered a tenth Boeing 777-300ER, to be delivered in 2018, the carrier announced Oct. 7.

An Oct. 4 GOL passenger flight between São Paulo Congonhas Airport and Brazil’s national capital Brasilia was the first South American commercial airline flight to have onboard internet connectivity, according to GOL CEO Paulo Kakinoff in a statement delivered in flight and transmitted live on GOL’s Facebook page.
