Eurowings Discover Launch in Frankfurt

Eurowings Discover plans to operate up to 11 Airbus A330-200s by summer 2022. The Lufthansa subsidiary is set to launch A330-200 services on July 24 from Frankfurt to Mombasa, Kenya, with onward service to Zanzibar, Tanzania.

One of Eurowings Discover’s 100 pilots. Some have flown before with SunExpress Germany, which operated wet-lease A330s for Eurowings. In addition, former Brussels Airlines pilots are under contract.

There are 17 Premium Economy Class on board the A330. Passengers can also buy an upgrade for Premium Economy or Business Class at the gate.

The A330 offers 231 Economy Class seats. There is more leg room in the first rows compared to other economy class seats, which passengers can select for €50 ($59).
