AMERICAN AIRLINES had $425m net income for 3Q19 (vs $372m in 3Q18) on 3% higher revenues; CASM increased 1%. It also estimates cancellations from 737 MAX groundings negatively impacted pre-tax income by about $140m; it has 24 MAXs on ground.
