World Routes 2014 is a little over three weeks away and we already have more airline delegates registered for the event than ever before.
The number of airlines registered to attend World Routes in Chicago has already surpassed the total number for World Routes 2013, with over 460 confirmed airline attendees representing 275 carriers from over 80 countries. The most recent registrations include: Qantas, who will have representation from their Head of Network and Strategy, China Eastern Airlines, South African Airways, TAROM, Kenya Airways, Etihad Regional and SunExpress.
The 20th World Route Development Forum is the essential global gathering for aviation organisations from across all continents, bringing together the largest range of airlines, airports, tourism authorities, civil aviation authorities and more from all corners of the world.
A total of eighteen airlines have confirmed that will deliver a Route Exchange briefing at this year’s event. The most recent registrations include Oneworld, who will be presenting their briefing based on the benefits of a dominant alliance at an airport, content which is yet to be explored at any Routes event. The event will also see strong representation from airports with registrations flooding in from all corners of the globe. The most recent registrations include: Yunnan Airport Group Co. 2014 will see World Routes return to the US for the second year in a row after last year’s event, which was the first time any Routes event had taken place in the country. The 20th anniversary event, which will be co-hosted by the City of Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) and Choose Chicago, the city’s tourism organisation, will be held at McCormick Place, the largest convention facility in the Western Hemisphere. With the most diverse economy in the United States, and home to several of the aviation industry’s leading companies, Chicago makes the perfect home for the 20th World Route Development Forum.
