With only 2 weeks to go until Routes Africa opens in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe registrations are still flooding in from across the region.
The 9th Routes Africa, which will take place from 22 – 24 June, will see over 300 aviation professionals gather to discuss air connectivity and route development to, from and within the African region. The event forms the essential meeting place for a wide range of airlines, airports and tourism authorities, including budget, flagship and national carriers.
Currently over 60 airports and tourism authorities, represented by senior delegations, have confirmed their attendance at the event in Victoria Falls. The most recent registrations include Sao Tome & Principe Tourism Board, Julius Nyerere International Airport, Tanzania Airports Authority and Aeroportos de Mozambique.
Many airlines are also scheduled to attend, including the three main African carriers Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and South African Airways. In addition, many airlines from outside of the region, including European airlines British Airways, Thomas Cook and Turkish Airways have registered and from the Middle East Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and Emirates are also scheduled to attend.
Low Cost Carriers will also be out in force with registrations received from the likes of Comair, Fastjet, Fly540 and start up carrier FlyAfrica.com. Visit Routesonline for the most recent and up-to date attendee list.
