Chicago is one of the most popular visitor destinations in the world, and with its unique combination of bustling cityscape alongside beautiful parkland and stunning lakeside vistas it’s easy to see why.
The Windy City offers everything from stunning architecture and renowned museums to endless shopping and Broadway theatre. You can walk miles of sandy beaches along ocean-like waters, or visit Navy Pier on the shore of Lake Michigan and take a ride on its world-famous Ferris wheel. Chicago is also the original home of the skyscraper, with two of America’s tallest tower buildings amongst its iconic and densely packed skyline.
Chicago loves its sports and has two Major League Baseball teams - the Cubs and the White Sox, in addition to the Chicago Bears National Football League team and Blackhawks National Hockey League franchise. Probably its most well known export however, is the world famous Chicago Bulls. If you can’t get to a game, take a visit to one of Chicago’s iconic stadiums such as Wrigley Field or The United Centre.
Chicago is also home to one of the world’s largest food festivals, and there’s a huge variety of local and global cuisine on offer to suit everybody’s tastes. Chicago is gaining global attention as a culinary mecca, boasting celebrity chefs and Michelin-starred cuisine.
