In a little over a month the 12th Routes Asia will take place in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia and attending delegates should ensure that any visas necessary for travel are applied for in good time.
Visitors to Malaysia must be in possession of a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of six months beyond the period of stay. Most nationalities do not require visas for social or business visits within a certain period. Further information regarding which countries will require a visa to enter Malaysia can be found here.
In addition to the visa application form, relevant fees and photos, embassies may also require a letter of invitation from the inviting company. Delegates requiring such a document from our host, the Ministry of Tourism Sarawak, should complete the electronic request form in full ensuring accuracy throughout.
Click here for further information on how to begin your visa application process and to request your invitation letter. Most embassies and consulates accept a scanned copy of the invitation letter and therefore our host will issue the letters to applicants via email as an attachment. If your Embassy or Consulate does not accept an electronic copy, please select an alternative format in the ‘Format Options’ section of the request form.
