In little over a month, the 9th Routes Africa will take place in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and the Visa Invitation letter request process is now open on Routesonline.com.
All attending delegates should ensure that any visas necessary for travel are applied for in good time and visitors to Zimbabwe must be in possession of a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of six months beyond the period of stay.
The Visa invitation letter request process is now open, and can be accessed on our website. Click here for further information on how to begin your visa application process and to request your invitation letter. Most embassies and consulates accept a scanned copy of the invitation letter and therefore once you have received your invitation letter from the host, Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe, they will issue the letters to applicants via email as an attachment. If your Embassy or Consulate does not accept an electronic copy, please select an alternative format in the ‘Format Options’ section of the request form.
We urge delegates to apply for their invitation letters as soon as possible to avoid any delays.Once you have received your invitation letter from the host, you will have to complete your visa request online; you can find a link to the visa request page on our website.
Nationals of a number of countries do not require visas for social or business visits within a certain period. Further information regarding which countries will require a visa to enter Zimbabwe can be found here.
It is important for all delegates to note that there is a $30 USD departure tax for passengers travelling from Victoria Fall airport. The tax will need to be paid in cash before embarking on your departing flight.
