This year for the first time the Aircraft ACMI Leasing Asia Conference will be co-located with Routes Asia.
The event, which will take place at 11:00 on Sunday 9th March, will be held by ACMI 24, ACC Aviation’s dedicated ACMI / Wet leasing division, who offer their own well-established event based in Europe. ACC will discuss Aircraft Leasing Availability, providing an industry update along with The Development of ACMI Wet Leasing and the challenges faced by airlines.
The opening session, Aircraft Leasing Availability Update will be led by Filipe Mendonca, Commercial Director of ACC Aviation and Dave Williams, Head of Leasing for ACMI 24 and will focus on current industry topics. With aircraft orders running at record levels this session will look at what is happening to used aircraft and what types are in demand. Who are the winners and losers? The discussion will also cover how seasonality is being managed and what the short term leasing trends are.
Following a coffee break Josh Romanow, Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP will lead a session entitled The Development of ACMI Wet Leasing. During this final session of the conference Mr Romanow will review and discuss the challenges faced by airlines when ACMI wet leasing aircraft across international borders in relation to the legal / regulatory requirements as well as solutions to respond to the challenges in these markets.
The event, which is free to attend and open to all Routes Asia delegates, looks set to provide an interesting insight into aircraft leasing. Click here for more information.
