Etihad Airways is seeing surges both in its bookings and in passengers trading up to premium cabins, according to Group CEO Tony Douglas.

Airline analysts expect that ULCC Ryanair will eventually buy the Boeing 737 MAX 10, despite walking away from negotiations with the planemaker over an inability to agree on prices for the large-capacity model.

Emirates announced that it will be expanding its operations in and out of South Africa, boosting its schedule to 28 weekly flights from the end of October and bringing back its flagship aircraft.

Hawaiian, which provides the only regularly scheduled air link between the two island chains, paused flights for 17 months at the request of the American Samoa government.
