GE AVIATION earned $641m on $5b revenues in 1Q21 vs $1b on $6.9b in 1Q20; it delivered 359 commercial engines (188 LEAPs) vs 530 (272). It says backlog decreased $13.9b (5%) a year ago, primarily due to cancellation of ~1,900 LEAP-1Bs.
